Things to do whilst glamping in the Ribble Valley

Just north of the former mill towns of south Lancashire, this green and pleasant part of the north-west – which includes the vast and unspoilt Forest of Bowland – is officially the happiest place in the UK, according to the Office for National Statistics

Surrounded by glorious, unspoilt landscapes, with the old market town of Clitheroe at its heart, the Ribble Valley has something for everybody. From boutique shopping and farm parks, to history filled family days out exploring the rich heritage, there are endless ways to fill your day.

With an abundance of quirky cafés and bars, gastro pubs, a giant food hall, and even a Michelin-starred manor house, it's no wonder the Ribble Valley is named the 'Food Capital of the North'.

Here's some of our top tips to make the most out of the area.
